Happy Hallowe'en

Fifth and sixth class have been busy preparing for Hallowe'en. 
We wrote Hallowe'en themed poems - describing Halloween, a trip to Dracula's castle, and trick or treating!

Maths Week 2015

 As part of Maths Week 2015, 5th and 6th class completed a maths trail based around the classroom environment. This challenge tested our wits at maths - measuring, calculating, comparing, identifying, estimating and collecting data! Mayo Science and Technology Week

This week we are preparing for the Mayo Science and Technology Week. The theme for this year is '2.0 Design your Future'. We are working on the Marshmallow Challenge, making the tallest free standing structure from 20 sticks of spaghetti and masking tape.
