Mini Sevens Girls Football

On Thursday, the girls from 5th and 6th class played in the Mini-Sevens Football Semi-Final in the Centre of Excellence, Bekan. After a successful day on Monday when the team won all their games, unfortunately the girls were beaten in the semi-final - not without putting in a massive effort! Well done girls!

Local History Projects

Groups have been very busy over the past few weeks researching and gathering information about the history of Tooreen and it's people. Projects were completed on the history of Tooreen village, Tooreen Hall, G.A.A clubs in the area, Sites and ruins in Ballyhaunis, Knock Airport, Tooreen Hurling Club and Monsignor Horan. Earlier this week, each group presented their project to the class. Well done to all groups!
